Ground control station is stored in a water/dust proof case that protects the GCS even in extreme environments. The GCS includes a water/dust proof laptop with a separate hard drive in protected case, recording device, joystick, antenna and wires. Touch screen laptop with TFT display simplifies the job of the operator as all required UAV control applications are one touch away on a virtual control display which the operator can modify including waypoints, speed, altitude, maps and set missions at any time to help analyse real-time video.
Ground control station has a GPS receiver built into the notebook which constantly updates the location of GCS even when it’s mobile. The GCS software is designed to be intuitive which aids the operators during their missions. Control of the payload onboard the UAV is displayed on the GCS and can be operated through the interface or using externally connected joystick. Each GCS carries an antenna which will be fixed to a tripod or antenna mast depending on the configuration of the UAS which may also require signal tracking add-on that optimises the highest quality signal between GCS and UAV(s).
OPERATING STAFF
A two person operated UAV complex, with an option of one operator under operational circumstances
One person is needed for UAV launch
For exploitation of the complex during the performance of the flight tasks including before the flight check, take off and landing one person is enough. In normal operations mode two staff are required (operator and commander).
When using automobile with GCS one more person is needed (driver).
