Vehicle Based GCS Ground control station is stored in a water/dust proof case that protects the GCS even in extreme environments. The GCS includes a water/dust proof laptop with a separate hard drive in protected case, recording device, joystick, antenna and wires. The powerful notebook is fitted with GCS software which allows full functionality of operating the UAV. The powerful notebook allows the operator not only operate the UAV but also run video stabilisation software in real-time, combining video analysis and map binding while having full functionality of the UAV modifying waypoints, speed, altitude, maps and set mission. Ground control station has a GPS receiver which constantly updates the location of GCS even when it’s mobile. The GCS software is designed to be intuitive which aids the operators during their missions. Control of the payload onboard the UAV is displayed on the GCS and can be operated through the interface or using externally connected joystick. Each GCS carries an antenna which will be fixed to a tripod or antenna mast depending on the configuration of the UAS which may also require signal tracking add-on that optimises the highest quality signal between GCS and UAV(s). Specialised two axis signal tracking antenna fitted on a seven meter mast guarantees optimum communication range between GCS and UAV. |
