ZANET® - Global Network System |
At this moment in time, use and the effectiveness of UAVs in the civilian and military operational theatres are determined by speed and availability of the diverse information from the operator to the chain of command. Communication Current UAVs systems available only offer a single point of access (usually the ground control station) for the information relayed from the platform(s), these category of systems are prone to investable weakness for infinite reasons number which could cause a loss of communication between the chain of decision makers and the operator of UAV in the line of duty. Solution ZALA AERO has now developed a solution ZANET®. The end product is information distribution, individual analysis, control of UAV and end point information to critical decision makers. Based on ZALA platforms, ZANET® is a global system with capabilities of providing various control capabilities for multiple control operators with remote distance control, the receiving of data and information from onboard the platform with distribution of users. ZANET® offers a final product with total control over the territory, monitoring of sea based and land based boarders. All ZALA AERO platforms have been integrated in the project. The payload(s) onboard these platforms will enable constant surveillance of area (e.g. border patrol, harbour monitoring and mission reconnaissance). The control of the platform can be switched between multiple users once the platform is airborne, this provides the capability of having government and civil departments sharing constant information and sharing control of the platform. Larger areas of surveillance require use of multiple platforms, in which case one operator with GCS (i.e. building, vehicle or vessel) can operate multiple platforms at any given moment in the area of authority. Information provided from platform(s) can also be relayed to all the users of ZANET® network depending on their access authorisation to the particular information from the command control to the operators in other areas of operation. Integration Other ZALA UAV platform range of weight above 2kg can also be integrated into ZANET® providing specific capabilities that cannot be undervalued under close surveillance or limited availability of launching range for a larger platform. Experience This integrated system was used by the Russian government departments on accident control and surveillance of flooding and forest fires. Oil giant Gazprom tested the ZALA UAV range and ZANET® system for monitoring oil pipelines in 2010. This has produced ZALA AERO being offered a contract for monitoring, surviving and diagnosing their pipelines using existing range of ZALA platforms. |
